The ETI Base Code

Evrifresh is firmly committed to the principles of ethical trade and upholds the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code as a fundamental guideline for our business practices. Our ETI Base Code Policy embodies our dedication to ensuring fair labor practices, human rights, and sustainable development throughout our supply chain. We believe in creating not just a compliant, but a truly ethical working environment that respects the dignity and rights of all individuals involved in the production and distribution of our products.

  • Employment is Freely Chosen: We ensure there is no forced, bonded, or involuntary prison labor in our operations and supply chains. Workers are free to leave their employment after reasonable notice.

  • Freedom of Association: We uphold the right of all workers to form and join trade unions and to bargain collectively, without interference or fear of retaliation.

  • Safe and Hygienic Working Conditions: We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace, preventing accidents, and minimizing health risks as much as possible through regular training and health and safety initiatives.

  • No Child Labor: We adhere strictly to the minimum age provisions of national labor laws and regulations and support the use of legitimate workplace apprenticeship programs.

  • Living Wages Are Paid: We ensure wages meet at least the minimum legal or industry standards and are sufficient to meet the basic needs of workers and their families.

  • Working Hours Are Not Excessive: We comply with national laws and benchmarks regarding working hours, overtime, and ensure workers receive adequate rest periods.

  • No Discrimination is Practiced: We promote equality in the workplace and do not engage in or tolerate discrimination based on race, caste, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, union membership, or political affiliation.

  • Regular Employment is Provided: We aim to provide regular employment where work is based on recognized employment relationships established through national law and practice.

  • No Harsh or Inhumane Treatment: We prohibit physical abuse, harassment, or any form of intimidation against employees
